Q) When will the Arts Educators Workshops take place? Where are they located?
A) This year’s Summer Institute has been transformed into our Africentric Arts Educators Workshop Series. Check back in August 2024 for more information.
Q) How can I register?
A) Sign up for Sankofa Songs Educators Workshop Series by emailing Dr. White Hope at swhitehope@sankofasongs.org.
Q) What are the registration fees?
A) Our Arts Educators Workshop Series offers 3 packages:
Package A, $250, includes all three workshops and 15 PDPs.
Package B, $200, includes two workshops and 10 PDPs.
Package C, $150, includes one workshop and a certificate of attendance.
All three packages include all panel discussions, digital and/or print resources, snacks, lunch, and more! Card to Culture members receive a 50% discount.
We are proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health's WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of organizations by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier.
EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders receive a 50% discount on all of our programs, including our Summer Institute. Q) Are the Arts Educators Workshops schedules available?
A) The Workshop schedules and other details will be posted on our website as they are confirmed.
Q) How can my business become a conference sponsor?
A) Sponsors are welcome and appreciated! To learn more about sponsoring our event contact Dr. White Hope at swhitehope@sankofasongs.org.
Q) Will I receive Massachusetts PDPs?
A) Registrants will receive instructions at each Arts Educators Workshop about how to claim their DESE-approved MA PDPs.
Q) What is the cancellation policy for the Workshop Series?
A) Our Arts Educators Workshop Series registration fee is non-refundable. Tuition is refundable up to four weeks before each workshop.
